Sea Turtles, Ghost Crabs & Other Beach Creatures

The Amelia Island Museum of History invites you to its next 3rd Friday on 3rd Street on Friday, December 18th at 5:30 p.m. This month’s program features local naturalist and artist, Sandra Baker-Hinton. Sandra is a volunteer at the local Sea Turtle Watch and is an expert on our local beaches. Studying sea turtles, horseshoe crabs, ghost crabs, birds, and the myriad of other creatures that comb our beaches, Sandra will discuss the magic of our beaches and why so many things call them home. Join us as we learn more about our local nature and what lived here before humans. Admission is free for museum members and $5 for non-members. For more information, contact Alex at 261-7378 ext. 102.
